About Usborne Books:
With so
many exciting media competing for our children's attention, publishers are forced to take on television, computers and
video games. Usborne Publishing has been challenging these media (with great success) for more than 25 years. Written, designed
and illustrated in close consultation with educational specialists, Usborne Books are designed to grab the child's attention,
satisfy his/her initial curiosity... and push that curiosity to learn more!
A kaleidoscope
of color and excitement... Usborne books introduce young toddlers with whimsically illustrated word-less board books and educate
high-school students with colorful, information-packed non-fiction books. Even Mom and Dad will find something for themselves...
learn to help their child swim, prep the chess skills, or pick up a new calligraphy hobby!
Usborne Books are fascinating and
full of wonderful illustrations. Unique details such as their short, magazine-like format, cut-away illustrations, and dual
reading-level story lines set them apart from most other children's books on the market today.
